MediaStreamManager instantiates and destroyes PreferredAudioOutputDeviceManager on the IO thread. It will provide an API for any object to access PreferredAudioOutputDeviceManager. The AudioOutputStreamBroker checks and replace sink id during CreateStream if the requested sink id is a default audio output if PreferredAudioOutputDeviceManager object is available. PreferredAudioOutputDeviceManager::SetPreferredSinkId API will replace device output id if it was already registered by AudioOutputStreamBroker. MediaWebContentsObserver will call PreferredAudioOutputDeviceManager to refresh the cache based on the RenderFrameHost refresh or deletion. here is design doc: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1xVn0VwLa8w7jwXl6aeOfYn0mYK7zEc4pSmHelHAbi2g/edit?usp=sharing previous CL: https://chromium-review.googlesource.com/c/chromium/src/+/5664173 Bug: 337094880 Change-Id: I599bd0a8009c3ff63616fee07fa3310d747dd6b0 Reviewed-on: https://chromium-review.googlesource.com/c/chromium/src/+/5814796 Reviewed-by: Dave Tapuska <dtapuska@chromium.org> Commit-Queue: Sunggook Chue <sunggch@microsoft.com> Reviewed-by: Olga Sharonova <olka@chromium.org> Reviewed-by: Wez <wez@chromium.org> Cr-Commit-Position: refs/heads/main@{#1386332}

Learn how to Get Around the Chromium Source Code Directory Structure.
For historical reasons, there are some small top level directories. Now the guidance is that new top level directories are for product (e.g. Chrome, Android WebView, Ash). Even if these products have multiple executables, the code should be in subdirectories of the product.
