
A set of changes that modifies the build files (gni, gn, py, and DEPS) in order to extend support to MacOS. The need for patching these was mostly because the entire build logic assumes that the host OS is "Linux" ending up with the wrong dependencies. Most of the changes include comments to clarify their purpose. To check out the source code locally, don't use git clone

For historical reasons, there are some small top level directories. Now the guidance is that new top level directories are for product (e.g. Chrome, Android WebView, Ash). Even if these products have multiple executables, the code should be in subdirectories of the product.
