The clangd docs say that you need your own build for remote indexing support, but offers no advice on how to get one (or how to check if you have one), and the linked bug also offers no clear solution. This patch adds advice on how to check if your build supports remote indexing, and how to get such a build. Learn how to Get Around the Chromium Source Code Directory Structure.
For historical reasons, there are some small top level directories. Now the guidance is that new top level directories are for product (e.g. Chrome, Android WebView, Ash). Even if these products have multiple executables, the code should be in subdirectories of the product.
