
This CL adds the backend type metric to understand how many users still depend on the USB MIDI backend that was originally used on pre-M Android devices, but potentially has been used on M+ devices as the Android MIDI API support is optional, and vendors can decide not to support the API. For historical reasons, there are some small top level directories. Now the guidance is that new top level directories are for product (e.g. Chrome, Android WebView, Ash). Even if these products have multiple executables, the code should be in subdirectories of the product.
