MediaFoundationService is currently hardcoded to use IMFContentDecryptionModuleFactory::IsTypeSupported for querying content type. The Windows OS implementation of this method does not support using this method for querying content type and will return true regardless of the `contentType` parameter if the `keySystem` is supported. This change lays the ground work for allowing other Media Foundation CDMs to use alternate "type supported" query methods. Learn how to Get Around the Chromium Source Code Directory Structure.
For historical reasons, there are some small top level directories. Now the guidance is that new top level directories are for product (e.g. Chrome, Android WebView, Ash). Even if these products have multiple executables, the code should be in subdirectories of the product.
